Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Special Needs Educator to provide learning support in Mossel Bay's inclusive school setting. You will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to tailor instruction and monitor progress.

The role emphasizes differentiated instruction, assistive technology, and evidence-based strategies to help diverse learners thrive.

Qualifications

• A recognized teaching qualification with a specialization in Special Needs Education or Learning Support.
• Experience with students with diverse learning disabilities.
• Proficiency in differentiated instruction and assistive technology, and IEP development.
• Strong understanding of child psychology and learning support methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and empathetic skills in Western Cape settings.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instructional support in small groups or one-on-one.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt materials for diverse learners.
• Monitor progress, document interventions, and communicate with parents and staff.
• Advocate for students' needs within the school community.
