This crucial role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, providing direct instruction, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities, including learning, developmental, and behavioral challenges.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with parents, guardians, therapists (e.g., speech, occupational), psychologists, and other school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and assistive technologies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed student records, including progress reports and IEP documentation.
• Advocate for the needs of students with special education requirements within the school community.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in special education.
• Lead and mentor junior teachers and support staff within the special education department.

Requirements
