Job summary

RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established building contractor, seeks a Site Agent for Pretoria to lead the delivery of new-build residential developments. The candidate must have a proven track record managing residential construction from start to finish and be highly organised and hands-on.

The role requires extensive experience in site management, subcontractor coordination, and strict adherence to QA/QC, health & safety, and project timelines. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ construction experience with a strong site management track record.
• Proven experience as a Site Agent on new-build residential projects.
• Relevant Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Building Science or Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and site management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, labour, materials and plant.
• Strong programme and progress monitoring skills.
• Good understanding of QA/QC, health & safety and snag management.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and documentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organised, hands-on and able to take full responsibility for site delivery.
