Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking a Site Agent in Pretoria. Are you a hands‑on, experienced Site Agent ready to take the lead on large‑scale construction projects? A well‑established construction company is looking for skilled professionals to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Budget Oversight:
  • Develop and implement detailed work plans, including scope, resource needs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Track production progress and project spend against forecasts, making adjustments as needed to stay on budget and on schedule.
  • Prepare and submit consistent weekly and monthly project progress and cost reports.
• Day‑to‑Day Site Operations:
  • Ensure all activities align with project standards and identify opportunities to optimize site processes.
  • Supervise material usage, production output, and all required site documentation (e.g., daily production records).
  • Continuously evaluate site workflows to drive improvements in productivity and efficiency.
• Site Administration & Resource Coordination:
  • Maintain accurate records, including rework logs, risk assessments, and procedural documentation.
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and usage of materials, equipment, and labour on site.
  • Handle payment certificate submissions and ensure compliance with contractual and financial obligations.
• Health, Safety & Legal Compliance:
  • Enforce site safety protocols, including the use of PPE, safety documentation, and regular inspections.
  • Address safety incidents swiftly and ensure all practices meet regulatory and internal safety requirements.
• Quality Control & Assurance:
  • Ensure alignment between planned work, approved methods, and available resources.
  • Implement quality assurance measures, including regular checks and proper documentation distribution.
• Professional Conduct & Communication:
  • Represent the company’s values and maintain a professional image on‑site.
  • Foster clear communication among teams, encourage feedback, and ensure visibility of management and leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Agent in the civil or building construction sector
• Relevant qualification in construction management or civil engineering (advantageous)
