Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior SEO Strategist to lead the organic growth of a leading brand in George, Western Cape. You will design and execute data-driven SEO campaigns, optimize on-page and off-page efforts, and collaborate with content and development teams to maximize visibility.

The role requires a strong background in analytics, technical SEO, and strategic leadership to drive measurable results in a competitive market. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in SEO are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in SEO.
• Proven track record of growing organic traffic and improving rankings.
• Experience with GA, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• HTML/CSS/JS knowledge is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Search Engine Optimization.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing SEO strategies that have resulted in significant organic traffic growth and improved search rankings.
• Expertise in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexability, site speed optimization, and schema markup.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from a technical SEO perspective is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate SEO strategies and results to various audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
