Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior SEO Strategist to lead our client's organic search initiatives from anywhere in South Africa. The role focuses on developing advanced SEO strategies, technical audits, and data-driven optimization to boost rankings and qualified traffic in a fully remote setup.

You will collaborate with content, development and marketing teams, stay ahead of algorithm updates, and mentor other staff on best practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in SEO with a focus on strategy and technical SEO.
• Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving measurable SEO results.
• Expertise in technical SEO including site architecture, crawlability, indexability, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience in JavaScript SEO, international SEO, or ecommerce SEO is a plus.
