Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Geophysics or related Earth Science.
• Minimum 8 years of seismic data interpretation experience in oil and gas exploration.
• Proficiency with Petrel and OpendTect seismic interpretation software.
• Strong understanding of seismic processing principles and geological concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret 2D and 3D seismic data to identify and map structures, horizons, and faults.
• Perform seismic attribute analysis and inversion to enhance subsurface understanding.
• Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geological information.
• Collaborate with geological and reservoir engineering teams to develop prospect evaluations and development plans.
• Contribute to generation and ranking of exploration and appraisal drilling targets.
