The ideal candidate has a master’s degree in Geophysics or related field, 5+ years of seismic interpretation experience, and proficiency with Petrel or Kingdom.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or related discipline.
- 5+ years hands-on seismic interpretation experience in Oil & Gas.
- Proficiency with Petrel, Kingdom, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of seismic data acquisition, processing, and attribute analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to visualize complex geological structures.
Responsibilities
- Process and interpret 2D and 3D seismic data to delineate structures and identify reservoirs.
- Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geological information.
- Utilize geophysical software and interpretation techniques to map traps.
- Generate seismic maps, cross-sections, and reports for exploration opportunities.
- Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to refine exploration models.
- Contribute to risk assessment and uncertainty analysis for acreage.
