Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Geophysics or related quantitative science.
• Minimum 7 years' seismic interpretation experience in Oil & Gas.
• Proficient with industry-standard seismic interpretation tools (Petrel, Kingdom, OpendTect).

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed seismic data interpretation to identify structures, traps, and hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geophysical information to build subsurface models.
• Conduct seismic attribute analysis and inversion studies to characterize reservoir properties.
• Evaluate exploration opportunities and assess geological risks.
• Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and management to support exploration decisions.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations detailing interpretations for the Stellenbosch office.
