Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Senior Business Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa, researching accounts, sourcing contacts and booking meetings with decision makers.

You will run thoughtful outbound sequences, maintain clean Salesforce records and collaborate with Account Executives to drive pipeline using tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role or similar
• SaaS or agency experience is a plus
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools and CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team
