Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) across South Africa to open doors and build pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel, researching target accounts, sourcing decision makers and booking qualified meetings for our SaaS-focused team.

This is remote role with a front-row seat to the early outbound motion. You will use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to execute thoughtful outreach, test messaging and maintain clean CRM records,

Qualifications

2 years in SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
