Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to join its remote South Africa team. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and creating compelling outreach to open opportunities for our sales pipeline.

Familiarity with outbound tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, plus experience using Salesforce to manage your own pipeline, are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
