Placements24 is seeking a skilled Roads and Stormwater Engineer to join their Mossel Bay team. The successful candidate will design roads, manage stormwater systems, and guide projects from feasibility through to handover, delivering safe and efficient infrastructure for the Mossel Bay area.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, Pr Eng registration with ECSA, and at least five years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and management of roads and stormwater infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant hydrological/hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail roads, intersections, and geometric layouts per standards.
• Develop stormwater management plans including drainage systems and detention facilities.
• Prepare tender documents for road and stormwater projects.
• Manage construction projects with site supervision and quality control.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments and road safety audits.
• Liaise with municipal departments, clients, and stakeholders for project execution.
