You will focus on water supply, wastewater, stormwater, flood control, hydrological studies, and modeling, with mentorship and professional development opportunities in a dynamic South African setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Pr Eng designation preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources engineering and infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of water quality, treatment processes and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage water supply systems, including treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations.
• Develop plans for wastewater collection and treatment, ensuring environmental compliance.
• Design stormwater management systems, including drainage networks, retention ponds, and flood mitigation strategies.
• Conduct hydrological studies and hydraulic modeling to assess water resources and predict system performance.
• Prepare design reports, technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water infrastructure projects.
