Job summary

Mondi is seeking a remuneration analytics professional to drive market benchmarking and internal pay equity across its South African operations in KwaZulu-Natal. The role supports the annual remuneration calendar, incentive calculations, and reward governance within a robust payroll and HR data framework.

You will develop dashboards, analyse remuneration trends, and provide data-driven pay insights to HRBPs and leadership while ensuring compliance with SA tax and labour laws.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• Post-graduate qualification is essential.
• 5+ years of experience in reward/remuneration/HR analytics.
• Exposure to salary surveys and job evaluation systems.
• Knowledge of South African reward and tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Reward Analysis & Benchmarking to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Support annual remuneration and benefits calendar; modelling, simulations, and validations.
• Manage payroll inputs, data accuracy, and compliance with statutory deductions.
• Develop reward dashboards and insightful reports for HRBPs and leadership.
• Provide pay benchmarking support to managers and respond to reward-related queries.
