Job summary

[Client] in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to design and manage total rewards programs. You will analyze market data, ensure internal equity, and drive compliance with relevant regulations.

The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in compensation principles, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior management. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years in compensation and benefits analysis or administration.
• Strong knowledge of compensation methodologies and benefits plan design.
• Proficient in Excel and HRIS; experience with compensation software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze compensation and benefits data for competitiveness and equity.
• Develop and maintain salary structures, job grading systems, and incentive plans.
• Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance and retirement plans.
• Manage annual salary reviews and bonus processes with accuracy.
• Analyze program effectiveness and propose adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with SA compensation and benefits regulations.
• Prepare reports and presentations on trends and recommendations for senior management.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and stakeholders to communicate programs.
• Assist in developing new compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
