The successful candidate will integrate geological and engineering data, perform history matching and uncertainty analyses, and mentor junior modelers while delivering robust recommendations to maximize asset value.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Construct detailed dynamic reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software.
• Integrate geological, geophysical, and engineering data to build realistic subsurface representations.
• Perform history matching and uncertainty analysis to calibrate models and assess risks.
• Conduct simulation studies to forecast production, evaluate development scenarios, and assess EOR potential.
• Collaborate with geoscientists and petroleum engineers to refine model inputs and interpret simulation results.
• Develop and present technical reports and recommendations based on simulation outcomes.
• Mentor junior modelers and contribute to the development of modeling best practices.
• Stay abreast of advancements in reservoir simulation technology and methodologies.
• Ensure the quality, integrity, and documentation of all simulation models.
