Placements24 client in Randburg, Gauteng, seeks a Reservoir Simulation Engineer to build, calibrate, and run reservoir models forecasting hydrocarbon recovery and guiding field development strategies.

You will collaborate with geologists, petrophysicists and production engineers, apply Eclipse, Petrel RE, CMG and Intersect, and perform history matching and uncertainty analysis to quantify risk and maximize asset value.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in petroleum engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years of reservoir engineering experience with a focus on simulation.
• Proficiency with commercial reservoir simulators and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Build, calibrate, and run reservoir simulation models.
• Forecast reservoir performance under development scenarios.
