Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead renewable energy initiatives in the Mahikeng, North West region. You will oversee the full lifecycle from feasibility through to handover, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver sustainable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in renewable energy project management, deep tech knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills to navigate regulatory environments and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in project management, focused on renewable energy projects.
• Experience managing projects from inception to commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, regulatory frameworks, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete renewable energy projects successfully.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and stakeholder consultations.
• Develop project plans with timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction phases to standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and regulators.
• Monitor performance, manage finances, and provide status reports.
