Placements24 in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects from feasibility through construction and grid connection. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, timelines, and regulatory approvals, and drive safe, compliant project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in project management for solar, wind, or similar, strong stakeholder skills, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of project management experience, renewables preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end renewable energy projects from feasibility to grid connection.
• Develop detailed plans: scope, budget, timelines, risks, resources.
• Secure permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals.
• Manage landowner, government, community, and supplier relationships.
• Oversee procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Monitor progress, manage budgets, and report to senior management.
• Identify and mitigate risks for timely project completion.
• Coordinate with grid operators for interconnection.
• Travel within Mossel Bay region as needed.
