Placements24 is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with specialization in Transportation Planning for a fully remote role. You will analyze traffic patterns, model future demand, and contribute to sustainable transportation networks across regions, collaborating with a distributed team of planners, engineers, and data analysts.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation) with Pr. Eng.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering or Planning.
Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in transportation planning and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

Conduct traffic impact studies and transportation demand forecasting.
Develop conceptual designs and feasibility studies for road networks, public transport systems, and active transport facilities.
Utilize transportation modeling software to simulate traffic flow and evaluate design alternatives.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and government agencies.
Collaborate remotely with project managers, urban planners, and other stakeholders to integrate transportation plans into broader development strategies.
Research emerging trends and technologies in transportation engineering and planning to inform future strategies.
