Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering, focusing on traffic analysis and planning.
• Proficiency in traffic modeling software (Vissim, Synchro, CORSIM) and GIS/data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and MUTCD standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic studies, capacity analyses, and traffic simulation modeling for road networks and intersections.
• Develop transportation plans including long-range mobility strategies, transit planning, and pedestrian/bicycle infrastructure.
• Design traffic control systems, signal timing plans, and intersection improvements.
• Prepare TIAs for development projects.
• Collaborate with urban planners, government agencies, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct traffic studies, capacity analyses, and traffic simulation modeling for road networks and intersections.
• Develop comprehensive transportation plans, including long-range mobility strategies, transit planning, and pedestrian/bicycle infrastructure design.
• Design traffic control systems, signal timing plans, and intersection improvements to optimize traffic flow and safety.
• Prepare traffic impact assessments (TIAs) for development projects.
• Collaborate with urban planners, government agencies, and community stakeholders to integrate transportation solutions into broader development frameworks.
• Stay abreast of emerging transportation technologies and innovative mobility concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering , focusing on traffic analysis and planning.
• Proficiency in traffic modeling software such as Vissim, Synchro, CORSIM, or similar.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, highway capacity manual (HCM), and MUTCD standards.
