Placements24 is seeking an innovative Remote Security Architect to design and oversee robust security solutions across the enterprise. This fully remote role requires embedding security into every project from the ground up and collaborating with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to build resilient systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years of information security experience focused on architecture and design.
• Deep understanding of network, application security, cryptography and cloud security principles.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and threat modeling methods (STRIDE).

Responsibilities

• Design and document secure enterprise architectures aligned with security policies.
• Provide security guidance throughout the SDLC.
• Evaluate and select security technologies to meet business needs.
• Develop security standards and patterns for cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premise environments.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments for new systems and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security controls and ensure compliance.
