Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Information Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of security frameworks for a global infrastructure. This role is fully remote, offering flexible hours and a strategic seat in shaping security across the organization.

You will define architectural standards, drive security roadmap, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements while guiding engineering and IT teams through risk-based decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 10+ years of information security experience.
• Proven track record designing and implementing security architectures for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of network security, cryptography, IAM, and application security.
• Experience with risk assessment and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).

Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure enterprise systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain information security architecture roadmap and strategy.
• Evaluate and select security technologies to meet business needs.
• Provide expert guidance on security best practices to engineering and IT teams.
• Lead security reviews for projects and mitigate risks.
