Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a client in filling a Senior Security Architect role for a fully remote team. You will design secure, scalable architectures, embed security into development, and provide technical leadership across cloud, network, and IAM domains.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, translate business requirements into robust security designs, and drive security strategy in a growing organization with a strong focus on cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a security architecture role.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, security controls, and cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design patterns.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation for security tasks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure, highly available, and scalable enterprise security solutions.
• Develop and maintain security architecture blueprints, standards, and guidelines.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and application security.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security, network security, and identity and access management.
• Lead security reviews and threat modeling exercises for new initiatives and systems.
