Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to open doors across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers and book discovery calls while representing Blacksmith with thoughtful, personalized outreach.

You’ll work with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce to manage your pipeline and hit aggressive volume targets, all within a remote setup.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
