Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead Process Engineer to join a globally distributed team in the petrochemical sector. The role focuses on designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex chemical processes with remote collaboration across international teams.

You will lead concept designs, drive efficiency and safety improvements, and mentor engineers working remotely, shaping innovation through advanced process technologies and rigorous analysis.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering required.
10+ years of progressive process engineering experience in petrochemical/oil & gas.
Strong expertise in process design, simulation software, and thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

Lead conception, development, and implementation of new petrochemical processes.
Optimize plant operations to improve yield, energy use, and safety.
Perform process simulations, HAZOPs, and risk assessments for compliance.
Provide technical leadership to remote team of process engineers.
Collaborate across R&D, operations, and engineering to integrate solutions.
