Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Helpdesk Technician to join a fully remote IT support team. You will provide advanced technical support to internal users, resolve complex issues, and contribute to IT strategy and process improvements.

In this role, you will mentor junior technicians, manage servers, workstations, and network devices, and drive best practices for a distributed workforce while maintaining high service levels and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IT helpdesk or technical support, with senior experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and network infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
• Diagnose and resolve complex IT problems, including system outages and performance issues.
• Manage and maintain IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Mentor and guide junior helpdesk staff, providing technical expertise and training.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Oversee IT projects, upgrades, and migrations as required.
