Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our remote team supporting critical energy operations. The role focuses on design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced control systems while collaborating with on-site engineers for reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, preferably in energy/process industries.
• Strong knowledge of process control strategies, PID tuning, and system integration.
• Experience with PLC/DCS platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell) and SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in developing P&IDs, loop diagrams, and functional design specifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes (PLC, DCS, SCADA).
• Specify, select, and procure instruments, control valves, transmitters, and related hardware.
• Develop and maintain control logic, ladder logic diagrams, and cause & effect matrices.
• Conduct system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis for control system failures.
• Ensure systems meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and performance specs.
• Collaborate with project teams, operations, and maintenance for project execution and continuous improvement.
