Placements24 is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer for a fully remote role in the power generation sector. The candidate will design, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation from a remote location.

The role requires 8+ years in instrumentation within power plants, strong knowledge of DCS/SIS, and familiarity with ISA/IEC standards. Remote collaboration with on-site teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years in instrumentation engineering within power generation.
• Knowledge of instrumentation technologies (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
• Experience with DCS and SIS systems.
• Familiarity with ISA and IEC standards.
• Strong analytical and remote-work capability.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify instrumentation and control systems for power plant applications.
• Develop and manage calibration procedures and schedules for critical instruments.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, control valves, and transmitters.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and startup of new instrumentation systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical expertise remotely to maintenance and operations teams.
