Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join a globally distributed team working remotely. You will design, implement, and maintain complex industrial automation systems, including PLC, DCS, and HMI architectures, while ensuring reliability and efficiency across multiple projects.
The role requires 9+ years of experience, a strong background in PLC/SCADA, and the ability to troubleshoot remotely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
- Proficiency with major PLC platforms (Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA software packages.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC, DCS, and HMI control system logic for industrial processes.
- Configure and commission automation hardware and software, including sensors, actuators, and VFDs.
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and process control.
- Perform system integration, troubleshooting, and optimization to improve performance and reliability.
- Create and manage project documentation including P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- Provide remote technical support and guidance to field service teams and end-users.
