Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Operations Engineer to remotely support mining operations based out of Rustenburg, South Africa. The role drives efficiency, safety, and productivity across facilities with expert guidance to on-site teams.

You will leverage industrial engineering principles, data analysis, and simulation tools to design effective operational strategies and SOPs while ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial engineering within mining or heavy industry.
• Strong background in process optimization, operations management and productivity improvement.
• Proficiency with simulation software (AnyLogic, FlexSim) and data analysis tools (Excel, Python).
• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively with remote teams.

Responsabilidades

• Remotely analyze operations data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Develop optimized workflows, production schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Design equipment and plant layout improvements to boost safety and productivity.
• Use simulation tools to test and validate process changes before implementation.
• Develop and update SOPs for key processes and ensure compliance remotely.
