Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Efficiency Engineer to drive operational improvements across a distributed network of facilities with a hub near Nelspruit. You will lead data-driven optimization initiatives from a home office, standardizing best practices and leveraging digital tools to monitor performance remotely.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Industrial Engineering, 10+ years in process optimization, and proven ability to influence cross-site teams remotely.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related quantitative field.
• Over 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, process optimization, and performance management.
• Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and simulation software (Arena, AnyLogic, R, Python).
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams remotely with strong communication skills.
• Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and metrics across multiple sites to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement standardized operational procedures across locations remotely.
• Use analytics and simulation to model changes and predict impact on efficiency and cost.
• Collaborate with on-site teams via virtual channels to implement improvements.
• Create reports and presentations for senior leadership detailing findings and solutions.
