Placements24 is seeking an experienced and innovative Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in process automation to join our globally distributed team. You will identify opportunities to automate processes, increase efficiency, enhance safety, and reduce costs across client sites.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with an automation focus, 7+ years of experience, and proven PLC/HMI and robotics integration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with an automation focus.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial engineering with emphasis on process automation and control systems.
• Proven experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and robotics integration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate processes suitable for automation across manufacturing and logistics operations.
• Design conceptual and detailed automation solutions, including robotic systems, PLCs, and SCADA integration.
• Develop project specifications, manage vendor selection, and oversee implementation and commissioning of automation projects.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure safety protocols are integrated into automation designs.
• Collaborate remotely with internal engineering teams, clients, and automation specialists to ensure project success.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automated systems to improve performance and reliability.
