Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Electrical Automation Engineer to design, develop, program, and implement automated control systems for industrial processes. You will work with PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs, contributing from anywhere with strong remote communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
6+ years in industrial automation and control systems.
Proficiency in Siemens S7 and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs.
Experience with SCADA software and HMI design.
Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Design and implement automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems from various vendors.
Develop and debug control logic and software for automated machinery and processes.
Configure industrial networks and communication protocols to ensure seamless data flow.
Conduct remote commissioning and provide troubleshooting support for automation systems.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and clients to define automation requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for automation projects, including control narratives and code.
