Placements24 invites an experienced Automation Engineer to join its manufacturing operations remotely. You will design, implement, and maintain automated systems, including robotics, PLCs, and HMI interfaces, to boost production efficiency and safety.

The role emphasizes innovation, troubleshooting, and seamless integration of automated solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, robotics, and control systems, with hands-on experience in PLC platforms

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Computer Science.
5+ years in industrial automation, robotics and control systems.
Proficient in Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC platforms.
Experience with HMI/SCADA development and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, program, and commission automated systems including robotics, PLCs and HMI interfaces.
Oversee integration of new automation technologies into manufacturing processes.
Develop and implement control system strategies to optimize performance, reliability and throughput.
Conduct root cause analysis on automation failures and implement corrective actions.
Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for automated machinery and software.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for automation.
