Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Industrial Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated systems that boost productivity and safety in manufacturing. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with automation focus.
- 5+ years in industrial automation engineering incl. PLC programming and HMI.
- Strong knowledge of robotics, servo systems, and industrial networking.
- Experience with SCADA systems and data acquisition.
- Excellent remote communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain robotics and automated machinery.
- Collaborate remotely with on-site teams to define automation requirements.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, ladder logic, and config files.
- Perform remote diagnostics and provide timely technical support.
- Stay updated on automation tech and recommend beneficial adoptions.
