Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to join its entirely remote technical services team. You will provide expert-level remote support for complex machinery deployed at client sites across regions, diagnosing issues and guiding on-site technicians through repairs.

You will contribute to preventative maintenance strategies, collaborate with engineering teams on equipment design, and mentor junior engineers while enjoying a fully remote role with flexible

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role.
• Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems relevant to complex machinery.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical problems remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote, expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex industrial equipment and systems.
• Analyze diagnostic data and performance logs to identify root causes of equipment failures and performance degradations.
• Create detailed technical guides, repair procedures, and troubleshooting workflows for field technicians.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to provide feedback on equipment design and reliability.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers and on-site client personnel on maintenance and repair best practices.
• Manage critical service escalations and ensure timely resolution of high-priority issues.
