Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Distribution Centre Manager to lead its operations in a remote-first capacity across the national network. This senior role focuses on inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and KPI-driven performance.

You will develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and mentor a distributed team of supervisors and staff, while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field.
• 10+ years in distribution centre management or senior logistics leadership.
• Experience with large-scale warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Proven ability to lead a remote workforce.
• Expertise with WMS and logistics tech.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all DC operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of supervisors and staff, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety compliance and policy adherence within the distribution network.
• Analyze KPIs to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales to align distribution strategies with business objectives.
