Placements24 is recruiting a seasoned Logistics Operations Manager to lead remote logistics operations. The role focuses on optimizing supply chain efficiency, transportation management, and cost-effective delivery across regions from a remote setting.

You will utilize technology and strategic planning to address challenges, build strong carrier relationships, and drive continuous improvement within the distribution network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with significant experience managing remote operations.
• Proven expertise in transportation management, warehouse operations, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with logistics management software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize all aspects of remote logistics and supply chain operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery times, reduce transportation costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and suppliers.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, cost per mile, and inventory accuracy.
• Implement and manage inventory control systems and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of performance and collaboration.
