Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will design, test, and integrate electrical power distribution, avionics, and control systems for aerospace applications, contributing to cutting-edge aircraft technology.

The role requires a Master's in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years in aerospace electrical design. You will work with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with DO-160 and MIL-STD, and execute environmental tests

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical systems design and integration in aerospace.
• Expertise in avionics, power generation/distribution, and control systems.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD tools and simulation software.
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace standards (DO-160, MIL-STD).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical power distribution systems, avionics, and control systems for aerospace applications.
• Perform detailed electrical load analysis, harness design, and component selection to aerospace standards.
• Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems, including environmental testing and validation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers for seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues during design, development, and flight testing.
• Ensure all designs meet aerospace regulations, safety requirements, and performance specs.
