Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Systems Specialist to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, analyze, and integrate avionics, electrical, and mechanical systems for advanced aircraft projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, development of specifications, testing procedures, and troubleshooting in a virtual environment. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in aircraft systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in aircraft systems design, analysis, or integration.
• Expertise in at least one major aircraft system area (avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical).
• Experience with simulation tools and modeling software relevant to aerospace engineering.
• Familiarity with aerospace certification processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance and reliability of aircraft systems (avionics, electrical, environmental control).
• Develop technical specifications, design docs, and testing procedures for new/modified systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for system integration and troubleshooting.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for failures and anomalies; propose solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in aircraft systems engineering.
• Provide remote technical support to manufacturing, flight test, and maintenance teams as needed.
