Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to shape the future of our electrical architecture in a fully remote role. You will lead design and implementation of complex systems, mentor engineers, and drive strategic technical decisions across the organization.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in power distribution, control systems, and system architecture, and excels in remote collaboration and self-discipline.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical systems engineering and design.
• Expertise in complex electrical system architecture, power distribution, and control systems.
• Strong proficiency with simulation and modeling tools relevant to electrical systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams effectively.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a high degree of self-discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design of advanced electrical systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Define technical requirements, standards, and best practices for electrical engineering across the organization.
• Analyze system performance to identify improvements and optimize designs.
• Oversee integration of new electrical components into existing systems.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers remotely.
