Placements24 is seeking a Senior Aviation Systems Engineer for a fully remote position. You will lead design, integration, and testing of advanced aviation systems, working across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes MBSE, V&V, and rigorous requirements management while delivering innovative, reliable solutions. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of aerospace systems engineering experience and strong leadership skills in a distributed, remote environment.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD required in aerospace/electrical engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in systems engineering for aerospace or aviation applications.
Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles including requirements mgmt, V&V, and MBSE.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate complex aviation systems throughout their lifecycle.
Perform system analysis, requirements definition, and trade studies for new projects.
Develop and execute system test plans, ensuring validation and verification of requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and manufacturing engineers.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
