About the Role

Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking a dynamic Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their IT & Technology division in Polokwane, Limpopo. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter with a strong understanding of the technology landscape and a passion for connecting top tech talent with innovative companies. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, from client engagement and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and placement. The position offers a hybrid working model, providing a balance between in-office collaboration and the flexibility of remote work. We are looking for a motivated professional with a proven track record in IT recruitment, exceptional networking skills, and the ability to build strong relationships within the tech community. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the growth of businesses requiring specialized technology expertise in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of clients within the IT and technology sector.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a wide range of tech roles (e.g., software developers, system administrators, network engineers, data analysts, IT project managers).
• Develop and execute effective candidate sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, social media, and professional networks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technology companies and IT professionals.
• Manage the recruitment process from initial client brief through to successful placement and onboarding.
• Provide market intelligence and consultative advice on IT talent trends and compensation.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments to evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Collaborate with the wider recruitment team to share market insights and best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in recruitment, with a strong focus on the IT and Technology sector.
• In-depth knowledge of various IT disciplines, programming languages, and technology stacks.
• Proven track record of successfully placing candidates in challenging technology roles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification in IT or Business is advantageous.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Polokwane, Limpopo.
