Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quality Systems Engineer based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System across the organization to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and drive continuous quality improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in quality engineering, strong analytical skills, and experience conducting audits and CAPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, QA, or QMS.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant standards.
• Experience conducting audits and CAPA processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Lead internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes of non-conformities, and implement CAPA.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to integrate quality into development and production.
• Train employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage supplier quality assurance programs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare quality reports and metrics for management review.
