Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Johannesburg real estate market across commercial, retail, and residential.
• Experience in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
• Strong knowledge of SA property law and leases.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the acquisition, management, and disposition of properties within the assigned portfolio.
• Conduct thorough market research and financial analysis to identify investment opportunities and assess risks.
• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and budgeting.
• Monitor portfolio performance against key financial metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Negotiate lease agreements, service contracts, and other property-related agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee capital improvement projects and renovations to enhance property value.
• Manage a team of property administrators and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with property ownership and management.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Property Studies, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in property management, asset management, or real estate investment.
• In-depth knowledge of the Johannesburg real estate market, including commercial, retail, and residential sectors.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
• Strong understanding of property law and lease agreements in South Africa.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
