Job summary

Frogg Recruitment seeks a Property Maintenance Manager to oversee residential estate infrastructure in Parow, Cape Town. You will lead a hands-on team, manage budgets, and ensure safety compliance across building trades.

The role requires a trade-qualified professional with 10+ years of supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and a proactive, resident-focused approach to service delivery.

Qualifications

• Matric with relevant trade qualification.
• 10+ years proven experience in maintenance leadership or similar.
• Must have drivers license and own vehicle.
• Strong hands-on capabilities across carpentry, plastering, painting, electrical, and plumbing.
• OHASA knowledge and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and repair maintenance around the estate.
• Lead and schedule maintenance staff; conduct training and reviews.
• Execute preventative maintenance for property infrastructure, fire safety, and CCTV.
• Manage general repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry) and urgent resident requests.
• Oversee tenders, negotiate contracts, and supervise on-site contractors to ensure OHASA compliance.
• Coordinate move-in/move-out inspections and unit refurbishments.
• Maintain perimeter security and IT systems while keeping expenses within budget.
