Job summary

Propr in Cape Town is seeking a proactive Property Maintenance professional to keep clients happy and properties well maintained. You will inspect properties, coordinate repairs, and ensure upkeep across all facets of the portfolio.

You will travel to sites, handle basic plumbing, electrical, painting and upkeep, and report progress to Operations. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property maintenance or a tradesman role.
• Solid understanding of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns and repairs.
• Travel to properties to handle repairs such as basic plumbing, electrical work, painting and upkeep.
• Complete tasks within deadlines and report progress to the Operations team.
• Perform regular inspections to identify issues or areas for improvement.
• Work with Operations and Property Management to address turnover maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Communicate updates with Property Managers and Guests regarding maintenance progress.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
