Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, Projects, Air & Sea, based in Kempton Park. You will drive growth for SSA projects, manage key EPCM clients and lead tender processes end-to-end, while traveling locally and internationally as needed.

You’ll develop the SSA Projects pipeline, coordinate with product leads, and build strategic relationships across the industry to deliver on our sales growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include proven ability to meet sales growth targets.
• 5+ years’ experience in Logistics/supply chain.
• Experience responding to tenders in a procurement environment.
• Project understanding experience 5+ years in logistics projects.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed personal growth targets with acceptable profit and risk.
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and with industry bodies.
• Collaborate with business units to develop customized solutions for Projects.
• Manage SSA Projects development pipeline and ensure yearly targets.
• Own end-to-end tender process for opportunities.
• Keep updated with DSV developments and trade legislation.
• Analyze market data to improve value proposition.
• Ensure deadlines are met and influence internal stakeholders.
• Develop and execute sales strategy for Africa and identify opportunities.
• Assist with risk mitigation and resource coordination.
• Prepare monthly stakeholder reports.
